Amazing food, large portions and friendly staff. We got our food to go but the place is able to accommodate dine in... seating and it is a cute dining room. Cleaning tables when we were waiting for our food and masks were worn, so definitely safe. I would go out of my way to eat here again it was so delicious... even the macaroni salad impressed me. The white rice was perfect but we went a step further and got a side of the hawaiian rice, made with spam... delectable. Thanks for such a great experience. We loved it.read more

My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. My family is from Maui and for those that have been to the local... restaurant L&L, Aloha to Go is the closest thing to having that with each bite. I LOVE THE FOOD HERE! The staff is great and quick with getting the food out to you. my only set back is I have had... them give my food to another client and the client leave with my food. The client brought it back in(IN FRONT OF ME) and they gave it to me no problem. With everything going on right now that did make me feel a little unsafe and I had to ask them to remake it. check the food before you leave so this doesn't happen to you!read more

Food was good but the service could have been a little better. As a first timer it wasn't clear whether we were to seat... ourselves or order at the counter as no one greeted us other than to say hello. After we finally seated ourselves and I walked up to the counter to ask I was told and the person at counter apologized. We were also told by who I assumed was the owner or manager to save room for desert. They were giving out shaved ice for their anniversary. After eating the yummy food we waited a good 15 mins and no one ever came out to ask what flavor we wanted so we left. Even on the way out no one said a word to us.read more

Love the food!!!! However, a month ago I noticed employees didn’t have masks on and I figured it was one time but today... I walked in to place a large order and the counter lady was wearing it under her chin. I turned and left!!! The other 5 customers were all masked the proper way to be courteous to others and I expect the same from a business.read more

Food was good. The main courses were all very delicious.(I tried the big kahuna combo all 3 meats were awesome) I was a... little disappointed in the sides but that might just be me. The pineapple coleslaw could have been sweeter and the macaroni salad was a bit bland. (Neither were bad by any means and I ate most of both)The teriyaki beef was incredible!Staff was friendly and attentive. Absolutely will be back!read more

First, I only write reviews for places that are extremely good or extremely bad. I am not sure how this place has 4.8... stars. As Gordon Ramsay would say, people come to eat at a restaurant for freshly cooked food not reheated food from yesterday (or more). So yes, as even confirmed by the girl who takes your order and serves your food, the food is "prepared the night before and reheated". If you are okay with this, fine. My leftover food at home tastes better. I would have been better off with a $1.00 hamburger from McDonalds - at least it is cooked to order and everything is fresh.I had the $15.95 pork rib meal with pineapple slaw and steak fries. The pineapple slaw tasted like it was 5 days old. The pork tasted liked it was cooked in a pressure cooker, stored in the refrigerator for 3 days and then slobbered on some sweet and sour sauce and reheated on the grill. It wasn't even reheated enough and was luke warm in the middle. There is a lot of sauce to disguise the reheated pork. The steak fries were okay except they use some kind of seasoned salt that has nothing to do with Hawaii. The cooked cabbage was equally disgusting. My wife ordered the platter of three meats and couldn't even finish it.So we spent $45 for REHEATED LEFTOVERS. When the girl asked how everything was, I explained how bad it was and that it was reheated food and had I known I wouldn't have even ordered it. I told her she should post a sign that says all of the food is reheated. Her response was "I'm sorry" and walked away. Wow.... I have been to Hawaii and have eaten good Hawaiian food - this is not it.-----In response to your reply, your staff absolutely did not offer "a new plate, an alternate meal, and a refund." I specifically told the young lady (the only one who came out to talk to us) that had I known your food was not cooked fresh to order I wouldn't have ordered it. That's not a question I should have to ask at a restaurant. But at the cost of $45.00 I finished the meat from the ribs and the fries. My wife was equally hungry and ate only the pork and beef from the Big Kahuna and left everything else behind. Too bad your staff lied to you.read more

Their employees are the best! Friendly, helpful, and courteous. Interior was very clean. We did an order to go and the... plating left a lot to be desired. Combo platter had hot food piled on top of cold. Really couldn't tell what I was eating underneath it all. The beef was very tasty although some was very tender & others were like leather. I would have given them 4 stars if not for the plating & inconsistency of the meat.read more

Ok here goes. I went this afternoon I made sure that I didn't go at rush hour now hear me when I said that I didn't ... go at rush hour.Now I had to really think hard about this.. I was the only 1 there.. and when the young lady took my money.. she didn't give me my change. I always give a $ 5.00 dollor tip..But when she said O that happens all the time.. that stopped me in my tracks.. then when I got the food.. it wasn't the worst ..it did have a good taste to it.. but it was just warm.. but wasn't ask if they could rectify it . The cabbage was like warm the meat was Luke warm the rice was like warm so I ask if the food was sitting out a long time.. Nope.. well then i ask if it sat on a warming table.. she said nope it was fixed on the grill. Don't ask me if you don't want the truth.. They must have been really busy...lololoread more
